To prevent such risks, all safe operating practices must be followed. The crane operator has the greatest responsibility for safety and must never operate a crane in unsafe conditions. Operators should fully understand the Operator’s Manual, crane rating charts, load limits, boom length, and load radius before lifting any load. Operating beyond the crane’s capacity can result in tipping or structural failure. Operators must also be physically fit and free from alcohol, drugs, or medication that may affect judgment or reactions. Work areas should be kept clear of unnecessary people and properly barricaded. When visibility is limited or hazards are present, signalmen are required to guide operations using standard crane signals or approved communication methods. Signalmen must clearly understand the job and maintain safe positioning during operations. All crew members, including riggers and oilers, must follow safety rules, report unsafe conditions, and watch for hazards such as power lines, unstable ground, and nearby workers. Management is responsible for ensuring that operators, signalmen, and riggers are properly trained, competent, physically fit, and qualified to perform their duties safely.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"KOBELCO","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46521564233927,"sku":null,"price":36.9,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0674\/3094\/0871\/files\/KOBELCO_CK1000_CRAWLER_CRANE_OPERATION.png?v=1778275759","url":"https:\/\/1stopmanual.com\/products\/kobelco-ck1000-crawler-crane","provider":"1STOPMANUAL","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
